Screenshot or photo of text → notes

Drop in an image of text — a slide photo, a screenshot, a scanned page — and get structured notes instead of a wall of raw OCR.

OCR gives you characters. It does not give you structure: no sense of what was a heading, what was a list, or which sentence mattered.

This tool reads the image, then rewrites the content as notes with headings, bullets and a summary. Images that are mostly a table or a diagram come through as a short description — treat that as a pointer to the image, not a replacement for it.

How it works

  1. Take the photo straight on, in even light, with the text filling the frame.
  2. Upload the PNG, JPG or WebP.
  3. Check the transcription before relying on it — recognition is good on clean text and unreliable on dense handwriting.

Questions

What image formats work?

PNG, JPG/JPEG, WebP and GIF. Very large images are rejected rather than silently downscaled.

Can it read a photographed whiteboard?

Usually, if the writing is legible and the lighting is even. Glare and sharp angles cost words.

Is the image kept?

No. It is deleted from disk as soon as the notes are produced.
